Setting up multiple screens can be a confusing process; however, this guide will take you through the steps in order to connect them to your laptop or desktop.
Ensure the screens you would like to use are connected to a power source and that they are in stand-by mode.
Next, connect them using a HDMI cable either directly to your laptops HDMI port or through the ports on the docking station Harper James has provided you.
Once they both have power and are connected to your device through HDMI, they should automatically detect the output and display your laptops desktop.
However, they may be formatted so that when you move your mouse off the screen to the left it goes onto your secondary screen, despite your monitor being on the right or vice-versa.
To remedy this, click the Windows key on your keyboard or click the Windows search bar at the bottom left of your screen.
Next, type ‘Rearrange multiple displays’ into said search bar and click on the option.
After the Display Settings open, rearrange the monitors by dragging and dropping them into the correct positions for them to match the arrangement on your desk.
To view which screen corresponds to which number, click the ‘Identify’ button and a number will be displayed on each of your screens, letting you know which screen corresponds to which number.
After you have rearranged your screens to their correct positions, close the Display Settings, and the numbers on your screen shall disappear.
