This guide will demonstrate how to subscribe to a Matter. Subscribing to a Matter makes accessing them much easier when you need to file an email or document. Once you receive a notification that your matter is open you will need to subscribe by following these steps so that you are able to file docs and emails.
- Open Microsoft Outlook, either by clicking on its icon in the taskbar or opening it by searching for it in the Windows search function.
- Within Microsoft Outlook, right click on the ‘My Matters’ icon.
- Then, select the ‘Subscribe to matter’ option within the dropdown menu.
- Enter information in the search window that you can use to identify a Matter to subscribe to.
- Then click on the Matter which you’d like to subscribe to within the ‘Search results’.
- The Matter will now be displayed every time you select ‘My Matters’ as a start location when choosing where to file items.
